Hughes Evans Design Services are a company of skilled structural detailers based in Leigh, in the North West of England. The company has been established for 10 years and was formed by principals Don Hughes and Steve Evans.

We are enthusiastic, skilled and experienced in the field of civil and structural drawing and detailing. We have proven expertise in a range of buildings, external works, petrochemical, power and water treatment. HEDS have undertaken new build and refurbishment / decommissioning projects to a wide range of clients. Our experience has been gained in supporting Consulting Engineers to dovetail with their needs, which may be to supplement, replace or manage their drawing output. Most projects require us to operate within specified security restrictions and confidentiality agreements. Resourcing a project is managed to suit it's needs with as few or as many experienced draughters to achieve the programmed goals of the project. Our personnel are chosen for experience and expertise, to reflect the high standard we strive to maintain. State of the art equipment is used in our offices with fully licensed industry standard applications including AutoCAD and MS Office. We operate within our clients Quality Management Systems, whether or not they are accredited.
